The Goal

The goal is to make Myriad a coin for everyone, wider adopted, with better distribution while strengthening the community. For that purpose the community needs a piggy bank, MillionMyriad will fulfill this need. The Piggy bank is full at 1 million XMY. The idea is to release 10% out of the fund every quarter of a year starting 1-1-2019 until 1-1-2025. Totaling 25 steps. In every “pay-out” the amount is divided by 5, so that the XMY’s are being equally distributed between the community goals, after 25 steps almost 75% of the initial fund is awarded. At the moment these are proposed:

 

1. Adoption;

   • Bonus for (approaching) exchanges

   • Companies accepting XMY (like an implementation bonus (or subsidy))

2. Bounties;

   • For (small) continuing developments

   • Widgets

3. A coin for everyone;

   • Increasing (mining/wallet) accessibility

   • Social Responsibility / Charities?

   • Local sponsoring?

4. Marketing;

   • Increase Myriad awareness (KeepMyShirt)

5. MillionMyriad

   • Security

   • Taxation

   • Upkeep

This means that if the MillionMyriad fund actually gets to a MillionMyriad before 1-1-2019, it will distribute 100,000 XMY, between the goals. After the first pay-out only 900,000 XMY is left, so the next step will distribute “only” 90,000 XMY. If the fund raises just 500.000 XMY, these numbers would have been 50,000 and 45,000 XMY.

This quarterly interval should make it possible to continuously make progress all around the board. But there is also another possibility. To prevent that the fund is sitting on an unused treasure and to maintain momentum, the fund will also pay-out when the price increases significantly. If for example XMY hits $0.1 before 1-1-2019, or it hits $0.5 before 1-4-2019 (1st of april), or it hits $1 before 1-1-2021, the fund will pay out early (there is a table with the proposed numbers).

Why would you pledge tot this fund?

Well there is a service connected to it. The fund is called MillionMyriad and that is because there are a million pixels for sale, each for 1 XMY, but you can only buy them per 10 x 10 pixels pixels. You can send a .jpg to millionmyriad@gmail.com and a (legit and SFW) website wich you would like to link to it. For example if you’d like a 30 x 40 banner for your favorite football club or your cryptocurrency blog you’d have to pledge 1200 XMY.
